Como instalar Automatix en ubuntu

Automatix es una herramienta que te facilitara la instalacion de algunas aplicaciones esenciales que no estan en los repositorios oficiales. Se trata de una herramienta muy recomendable ya que tiene muchos programas buenos y senciales como son: aMule, aMSN, google earth, wine, y un largo etc.
En esta pequeña quia podras instalarlo muy facilmente.

Para empezar abriremos una terminal. (Aplicaciones/ Accesorios/Terminal)

Editar tu sources.list:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Se abrirá una ventana de texto, y agregaremos al final la siguiente linea:

deb http://www.getautomatix.com/apt dapper main

Guardamos los cambios y cerramos el texto.
Obtener la llave GPG del repositorio:

wget http://www.getautomatix.com/apt/key.gpg.asc
gpg –import key.gpg.asc
gpg –export –armor 521A9C7C | sudo apt-key add –

Para finalizar:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install automatix

Los usuarios de xubuntu necesitaran instalar Zenity:

sudo apt-get install zenity

Ya tenemos Automatix instalado.

Para lanzar Automatix te vas a Aplicaciones > Herramientas del sistema > Automatix.

Al ejecutarlo, nos pedirá los programas que queremos instalar, seleccionamos los que queramos (en mi caso casi todos).

La instalacion serás más o menos larga según el número de programas que elijamos, y habra que estar atento al PC, ya que al empezar y de vez en cuando te ira pidiendo tu password.

Las aplicaciones que tiene disponible para la instalacion de i386 son:

Acrobat Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader and plugin for Firefox 1.5)
AMSN 0.95 (MSN client with webcam support)
Amule (Latest version of a P2P file sharing client)
Archiving Tools (Additional archiving tools (rar, unrar, ace, and 7zip))
AUD-DVD codecs (NON-FREE Audio and DVD codecs) (Installation of this option is illegal in the United States of America)
Avidemux (Video Editing Tool)
Azureus (Installs Azureus bittorrent client)
Backup and Restore (A graphical backup and restore solution for Ubuntu (GNOME))
Beagle (A Mono-based search program)
Bittornado (Bittorent Client)
Boot-up Manager (Easy configuration of startup and shutdown scripts and services)
Checkgmail (A nifty gmail checker)
Ctrl-Alt-Del (This configures Ctrl-Alt-Del to Open Gnome System Monitor (GNOME ONLY))
